Marriage in a Museum
If you live in Massachusetts you might want to check out the “Wedded Bliss: The Marriage of Art and Ceremony” exhibition at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem (open until September 14). There are 130 pieces of wedding-related art from across centuries and cultures, including paintings by Chagall and Picasso and historic wedding dresses that will make your’s look incredibly comfortable.
